Job Description
- Identify applicable government incentives, subsidies, and tax concessions based on client business models, investment plans, and geographical location.
- Track sector specific and region specific incentive schemes and develop optimisation strategies for new and ongoing projects.
- Interpret incentive policies, notifications, and guidelines and prepare clear advisory notes on eligibility criteria, timelines, and procedural requirements.
- Prepare Detailed Project Reports including financial projections and inputs from internal and external stakeholders.
- Compile, review, and file complete incentive applications along with requisite supporting documentation and manage departmental clarifications.
- Maintain scheme wise trackers for eligible, applied, sanctioned, and received incentives and highlight gaps, risks, and optimisation opportunities.
- Coordinate with government authorities, nodal agencies, and consultants for follow up on applications, inspections, approvals, and disbursements.
- Monitor policy updates and new incentive schemes and communicate relevant changes and opportunities to internal teams and clients.
Qualifications
- Qualified CA or CMA.
- Semi Qualified CA or CMA.
- MBA with relevant experience in Government Incentives or Advisory.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills for team management and client coordination.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt.
